O U2 ta sumindo?

Gente, tenho sofrido ultimamente pela falta de cds e dvds do U2 nas lojas. Como sou fã recente, vivo atrás de coisas deles que ainda não tenho, mas não encontro de jeito nenhum (e acreditem, já fui até o inferno atrás), só que sempre vejo cds, livros aos montes de outras bandas tão ou mas antigas do que o U2, mas deles nada :( eu realmente não encontro eles por aí. O problema é só aqui na minha cidade? Digamos que não seria de espantar que fosse :P E outra, eles sumiram das rádios?:huh:

Supermodel and activist Christy Turlingon Burns is once again teaming up with Starbucks to release Every Mother Counts 2012, the second album to benefit the organization she founded of the same name, which supports maternal mortality reduction programs globally.

The new collection, available exclusively at Starbucks in the US and Canada from May 1 to May 29 to celebrate Mother's Day, features artists including Sting, Rita Wilson, Rufus Wainwright, David Bowie, and more, as well as several previously unreleased tracks (full track listing below).

"I went to friends first, as I did with the first CD," Turlington Burns tells Rolling Stone. "Bono and Chris Martin were great supporters of the project the first time around, and when I knew I wanted to include men on this album they were obvious choices. They are also both fathers to daughters. Others, such as Patti Smith and Rita Wilson, I've known for a long time, and some, like Edie Brickell and Paul Simon, I only met briefly but was a huge admirer. I generally wanted a diverse group of artists who were parents, or in the case of Edward Sharpe, who will be soon. We wanted to reach a broad audience on this issue with this particular project and with a range of perspectives."

Campanha: Comemore o aniversário do Bono ajudando o GRAACC

Pelo 7°ano consecutivo, Ultraviolet-U2, fã clube do U2 no Brasil, está promovendo a campanha de ajuda ao GRAACC. Como todos sabem, Bono faz aniversário no mês de maio e é inspirado no seu trabalho humanitário que a UV está empenhada nesta causa.

Em 2006, logo após os shows da Vertigo Tour no Brasil, o Ultraviolet-U2 decidiu prestar uma homenagem ao Bono no seu aniversário. Havia a possibilidade de participarmos de campanhas internacionais como a “Build a Well”, mas queríamos fazer nossa própria campanha para ajudar uma instituição aqui no nosso país.

O GRAACC – Grupo de Apoio ao Adolescente e à Criança com Câncer – é uma instituição sem fins lucrativos, voltada a garantir todas as chances de cura de crianças e adolescentes com câncer com qualidade de vida, dentro do mais avançado padrão científico. Por atender pacientes do Brasil inteiro e pela seriedade do trabalho, o Ultraviolet-U2 escolheu o GRAACC como beneficiário da nossa campanha.

Maio está chegando e,pela 7ª vez consecutiva, daremos início à campanha 2012 dos fãs do U2 em prol do GRAACC.

Amanhã, a campanha estará aberta oficialmente e postaremos como fazer a doação. Participem!!:aprovado:
