Innocence + Experience Tour chega aos Estados Unidos

Na California o amor não tem fim, diz Bono na canção que homenageia o ensolarado estado americano. Coincidentemente, ou não, esta foi a primeira parada da Innocence + Experience Tour nos EUA. A cidade de San Jose recebeu dois shows, em plenas segunda e terça-feira.

Assim como fizeram em Vancouver, Bono, Larry, Edge e Adam chegaram cedo ao local do show e saíram para atender os fãs que esperavam na fila, distribuindo autógrafos e alguns sorrisos.

Há relatos de que, durante o show, o sinal de internet dentro da arena aparentemente foi reduzido, senão cortado, dificultando a transmissão via streaming pelos fãs. Ainda assim, muitos usam os aplicativos Periscope e Mixlr para compartilhar o show pela web.

O setlist segue relativamente igual, com um ou outro ajuste. Como destaque, aparece o repeteco de When Love Comes To Town na primeira noite, e a estreia de The Electric Co. no segundo show.

Também surgiu como novidade o vídeo que separa o bloco Innocence do Experience, no qual Johnny Cash canta a mítica The Wanderer, faixa do álbum Zooropa.
